In The Lead-Up
Planning Makes PERFECT
We believe great wedding films start with great preparation. A few weeks before your wedding, we’ll organise a planning call to walk through your timeline in detail, covering how the day will flow, the moments that matter most to you, and how we’ll capture them. We’ll also chat through how we work, where we’ll be throughout the day, and make sure everything feels clear and aligned.
We’ll ask for a rundown of your bridal party and key family members too, so we can be confident no one important is missed.
In the lead-up, we’ll connect with your photographer (if we haven’t already) and touch base with your venue to make sure everyone’s on the same page. By the time your wedding arrives, everything is set so the day runs smoothly, you feel relaxed, and we can focus on capturing it all at its best
Getting Ready
The Countdown Is ON
Before we meet you, we’ll usually arrive at the venue about an hour early (depending on your package). This gives us time to scope everything out and capture those important establishing shots, setting the scene before the day fully unfolds. It also means we can get things like drone footage done early, while time and conditions are on our side.
From there, if booked, we’ll join you during the getting-ready stage. It’s one of the most emotional and personal parts of the day, being surrounded by your closest people, the anticipation building, and those quiet, meaningful moments you don’t always notice.
There’s no need to perform for the camera. We take a relaxed, fly-on-the-wall approach, capturing things as they naturally happen. From the small details like dresses, shoes, and rings, to the interactions between you and your family and friends, we’re there to document it all without getting in the way.
If you’re planning a first look, we’ll coordinate closely with your photographer to make sure everything runs smoothly and is captured beautifully from both perspectives.
The Ceremony
And so IT BEGINS…
The ceremony is the heart of your film, and we take real care in capturing it properly. From the walk down the aisle to those emotional reactions, this is where everything comes together. We move thoughtfully throughout the ceremony to capture both of you as you speak, along with genuine reactions from your family, bridal party, and guests.
Audio is just as important as visuals. We connect directly to the venue’s sound system where possible, and also use discreet microphones - one on the groom and one on the main microphone - so every word is captured clearly from multiple sources.
If you’ve added a full ceremony film, we’ll also set up an additional camera to record everything from start to finish. This is usually placed at the back to capture the full scene, but we’re happy to position it on either side depending on your preference.
Portraits
It Doesn’t Need to Feel Awkward
We know that being in front of the camera can sometimes feel a bit awkward - especially after a full day of emotions. Once family photos are wrapped, we shift the focus to creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for you and your bridal party.
Rather than stiff posing, we keep things natural. We’ll offer gentle direction, keep the energy light, and encourage movement, whether that’s a walk, a laugh, or something a bit more playful, if you’re up for it. It’s all about helping you feel comfortable so the moments come through authentically on film.
At the same time, we work closely with your photographer to ensure everything flows smoothly and that you’re getting the most out of both photo and video. If you do prefer a more guided or posed approach, we’re more than happy to adapt. This is all about what feels right for you.
The Reception
Let the Celebrations BEGIN!
Once portraits wrap, it’s time for you to relax and enjoy the celebration. During cocktail hour, we take a fly-on-the-wall approach, capturing candid moments as your guests mingle, laugh, and connect. We keep a low profile so everything feels natural, while always keeping an eye out for those in-between moments you’ll want to remember.
When it comes to speeches, we’re set up and ready. We use a dedicated camera for the speaker and connect to the venue’s sound system, along with placing a recorder on the main microphone - just like during the ceremony - to ensure clear, reliable audio. While that’s running, we move through the room capturing reactions from your guests, your families, and of course, you both.
For your first dance, we give you the space to enjoy it. We stay unobtrusive while making sure it’s captured beautifully. Your main film will include the standout moments, and if you’ve added a full first dance film, you’ll also receive a lightly edited version of the entire dance to relive it in full.

The Night is Young
This is where everything lets loose. The formalities are done, the music’s up, and the energy on the dance floor takes over. We’ll jump right in with you, capturing the singing, the movement, and all the moments that make the night unforgettable.
We keep things natural and unobtrusive, giving you space to enjoy yourselves while still being there to catch the best moments as they happen. It’s also when we spot those unexpected interactions. Friends reconnecting, family celebrating, and the kind of memories you don’t plan but will love looking back on. It’s easily one of our favourite parts of the day.
If your coverage includes it, we’ll also be there for your exit, whether it’s a sparkler send-off or a tunnel of guests. We’ll capture it all as you make your way through, before wrapping up and leaving you to enjoy the rest of the night.
After the Day
What Happens Next?
Once the celebrations wrap, we securely ingest and back up all your footage so everything is safe from the very start. From there, your film enters our editing queue, and we get to work on your teaser, delivering it within 7 days so you can relive the highlights straight away.
We then move into crafting your full film, which is typically delivered within 5–8 weeks. Every moment is carefully shaped into a final piece that feels true to your day.
When it’s ready, we send your film along with any additional edits on a USB delivered straight to your door, giving you the highest quality version to keep and watch whenever you like.
